Pleurotus ostreatus is a common edible fungus, also known as Pleurotus ostreatus, black peony mushroom, oyster mushroom and so on. Pleurotus ostreatus has high edible value and is rich in protein, amino acids and minerals. in addition, it also has certain medicinal value, such as relaxing meridians and activating collaterals, dispelling cold and so on. There are many kinds of Pleurotus ostreatus, which are planted in many places in our country. Let's take a look at when Pleurotus ostreatus is usually planted. Cultivation techniques of fermented materials.

When is Pleurotus ostreatus usually planted?

Pleurotus ostreatus can be planted all the year round, as long as the temperature is well controlled and the mushroom production is managed properly, it can generally be planted successfully. However, most mushroom farmers will choose to plant in summer or early autumn, when the temperature is relatively high, no additional heating equipment is needed, and the yield will be higher.

The common cultivation methods of Pleurotus ostreatus are indoor bed planting, intercropping of corn or soybean with Pleurotus ostreatus, plastic greenhouse cultivation and so on. Which method to choose needs to be decided according to your local geographical environment, climate type and selected varieties.

2. Cultivation techniques of Pleurotus ostreatus fermentation material

1. Mixing material

Prepare cottonseed husk and corncob to soak with water, wait until the main material fully absorbs moisture, then add wheat bran, gypsum and other raw materials to turn the pile and mix evenly. The water content of raw materials should be controlled at about 63%, and the softening degree of culture materials should be observed in the process of fermentation.

2. Build a pile

The amount of a fermentation should be at least 1000 jin, otherwise the heating rate is very slow, especially when the winter temperature is low, the effective temperature of fermentation is more difficult to achieve.

3. Turn over the pile

When the central temperature of the culture material of Pleurotus ostreatus reaches 60 degrees and the time length reaches one day, the pile will be turned for the first time. If you have time, you have to turn the pile once a day, and if you don't have time, you have to turn the pile every day. The specific number of turns reaches five times, and it takes about ten days to complete the fermentation.

4. Cooling treatment

When there are many white actinomycetes visible to the naked eye in the culture medium, it is proved that the fermentation can be over. The quality of the fermented culture material is relatively soft, if you grab a hand, it can form a ball, and if you throw it on the ground, it will spread out immediately, with a fermented fragrance. After the end of fermentation, the culture material will be laid flat and then cooled down, waiting for inoculation.

5. Inoculation

When the temperature of the culture material drops to 20 degrees Celsius, it begins to be bagged. Generally, large bags are used if the temperature is low in winter, and small bags are chosen when the temperature is high in summer. Layer sowing is selected in the way of inoculation, with two layers of bacteria in the middle of the bag and bacteria at both ends of the bag.

6. Cultivation

The environment for cultivating Pleurotus ostreatus must be disinfected in advance to maintain the ventilation and dryness of the environment. In addition, it is also necessary to avoid light. The temperature is kept at about 15 to 20 degrees Celsius, and the mushrooms can be produced in a month.

7. Mushroom production

There are many ways to produce mushrooms, including bag opening, cutting, and rings.
