Eggplant is not only a vegetable with many edible methods, but also a nutritious and healthy vegetable, so how to treat eggplant leaf disease?

Eggplant leaf diseases are mainly brown stripe, Fusarium wilt, Verticillium wilt and so on, different disease control methods are also different, generally need to spray some fungicidal pesticides to control, such as carbendazim, carbendazim, enylmorpholine, methyl thiophanate suspension and so on.

1. Brown streak

Disease manifestations: leaf disease spots began to be water-stained spots, gradually developed into brown wheel patterns, gray-white edges with small black spots, rhomboid disease spots on the stem, small black spots on the fruit, and the disease changed from yellow to brown.

Prevention and control methods: 1500 times of prohydantoin, 47% plus Ruinong 600 times, 70% methyl topiramate and other chemicals can be sprayed with water, and can also be prevented by implementing rotation, selecting disease-resistant varieties, strengthening ventilation and light transmission in production, and reducing population humidity.

2. Fusarium wilt

Symptoms: symptoms include severe spots, wilting or death of leaves, flowers, fruits, stems or whole plants.

Prevention and treatment: first soak the seeds with 0.1% copper sulfate (5 minutes) for disinfection, wash and sprout, at the initial stage of the disease, you can spray carbendazim or methyl thiophanate suspension, in addition, 12.5% carbendazim solution can be used to irrigate roots.

3. Verticillium wilt

The manifestation of the disease: symptoms appeared in the lower middle of the plant, wilted in sunny days at the initial stage, recovered sooner or later, and did not recover after the disease was serious. Some turn yellow from one side of the branches and leaves, open the diseased roots, stems and branches, and the vascular bundles turn dark brown.

Prevention and treatment methods: at the initial stage of the disease, 77% carbendazim, 50% carbendazim and 2000 times carbendazim can be irrigated to the root, once every 10 days, for 2-3 times in a row. In serious cases, the diseased plant should be removed and quicklime should be sprinkled at the pull-out site for sterilization treatment to prevent bacteria from spreading by means of watering.
