Ground tiger is a common underground pest in the seedling stage of all kinds of crops in China, which is harmful to cotton, corn, sorghum, millet, wheat, potatoes, beans, hemp, alfalfa, tobacco, sugar beet, rape, melons, many kinds of vegetables and lawns. In addition, seedlings of medicinal plants, forage grasses and forest nurseries are also often harmed. So, what pesticides are used to control tigers?

1. Spraying liquid

According to the dosage of 500 grams per mu, the surface is properly sprayed with water, and then watered; 2.5% trichlorfon powder can also be used to spray 1.5-2 kg per mu.

2. Spread poisonous soil and sand

Add an appropriate amount of water with 50% phoxim EC 0.5kg, spray 125kg and 175kg fine soil, or sprinkle with 2000 portions of fine sand with 1 part of 20% fenvalerate EC, or 2.5% trichlorfon powder, 1.5kg / mu and 10kg of fine soil, sprinkle in the heart leaves of turfgrass.

3. Poison bait trap

Use 90% crystal trichlorfon 0.5 kg with 3-4 kg of water, spray on 50 kg crushed and fried cottonseed cake or wheat bran, or use 50% phoxim EC 50 g per mu, mixed with 5 kg cottonseed cake (or chopped fresh grass). Poison baits or weeds are scattered near the root of lawn grass in the evening, with a small pile of 15-20 kilograms per mu at regular intervals.

4. Chemical root irrigation

When the worm is older, use 80% dichlorvos EC or 50% phoxim, 0.2 kg per mu and 400 kg water for root irrigation (safe interval 5-7 days).

The key to control the small land tiger is to extinguish the 3rd instar larvae before, when the larvae fail to spread and have low drug resistance, so it is necessary to do a good job in pest prediction and investigation in order to control them effectively.
