Difference 2. Stems and leaves are different.

Difference 4. Fruit is different.

The capsule of goldfish grass is ovate, ca. 15 mm, base strongly extending forward, covered with glandular hairs, apical pore lobed. The pods of Lupinghua are oblong-linear, 2.5-5 cm long and 0.8-1.2 cm wide, densely brown hirsute, apex with a short beak of the lower finger.
