Virgin fruit, often known as small tomato, Chinese official name is cherry tomato, is an annual herb, belongs to the tomato genus of Solanaceae. Because of its small and bright shape, juicy and delicious, it has become a popular fruit. So how do you plant virgin seeds?

1. Dry the seeds of the virgin fruit and expose them to the hot sun for one day before planting (eliminate germs and viruses, increase the germination rate), and then disperse the seeds that have been glued into pieces and set aside.

2. Spray clean water evenly on the seedling bed, then spread the seeds of the virgin fruit evenly on the seedling bed, then put on a circular bamboo skeleton, cover the plastic film, and compact the periphery with stones and soil (moisturizing and heat preservation).

3. The seeds will sprout after 3-5 days. When the embryo leaves grow, open the plastic film once in the morning and afternoon during the day to give them fresh air.

4. When the real leaves appear, give them a careful spray with a spray can to promote the growth of a light dung and urine.

5. When the soil in the culture bed is short of water, it should be replenished with a spray can in time.

How long does it take for virgin seeds to germinate?

Virgin fruit seeds can germinate in about 14-20 days. The suitable temperature for the growth and development of virgin fruit is at 20-28 ℃, and the seed germination stage needs 25-30 ℃, but it is difficult to germinate below 14 ℃. During the seedling stage, the temperature was 20: 25 ℃ in daytime and 10: 15 ℃ at night. During the flowering and fruit setting period, 20: 28 ℃ in daytime, 15: 20 ℃ at night, lower than 15 ℃, the growth and development is slow, when the temperature is higher than 35 ℃, the plant grows slowly, which will also cause flower and fruit drop. During the fruit development period, it is generally 24: 28 ℃ in daytime and 16: 20 ℃ at night, and the temperature difference between day and night is 8: 10 ℃.
