Rice paspalum and barnyardgrass are both gramineous plants, and they are common weeds in fields, swamps and ditches, and their similar shapes are always indistinguishable. Barnyardgrass, rice paspalum and Qianjin are common and harmful gramineous weeds in paddy fields, which seriously harm the quality and yield of rice. What's the difference between the two? How to prevent and cure it?

What is the difference between barnyardgrass and barnyardgrass?

Rice paspalum = the leaves grow vertically, the leaf sheath is turquoise, and the seeds are larger; no matter its seedlings, adult plants and seeds can be mixed with rice, causing long-term harm to rice. Barnyardgrass and rice are very similar in appearance. Culms erect, base oblique or geniculate, smooth glabrous. Leaf sheaths loose, lower ones longer than internodes, upper ones shorter than internodes; ligule absent; blade glabrous.

Second, how to control paspalum and barnyardgrass?

Rice paspalum control:

(1) combined with seed treatment to remove weed seeds, and combined with ploughing and soil preparation to eliminate weed seeds on the soil surface.

(2) regular flood-drought rotation should be implemented to reduce the occurrence of weeds.

(3) improve the quality of sowing, sowing the whole seedling and pressing the grass with the seedling.

Barnyardgrass control:

(1) closed herbicides in direct seeding field can be used with bensulfon propachlor (plus safety agent), pyrimidine propachlor (plus safety agent), propachlor (plus safety agent), etc.

(2) herbicides can be used in stems and leaves after direct seeding field: dichloroquinolinic acid, dichloroquinolinic acid and dichloroquinolinic acid. After 2.5 leaf stage of rice, 10-20 grams of active ingredients per mu and 30-45 kilograms of water were sprayed evenly. When barnyardgrass occurs seriously, pentafluorosulfonamide (Daojie) can be used to spray water evenly with 30-50 ml per mu.

(3) after rice seedling throwing or transplanting, after the seedling took root, barnyardgrass was sprayed evenly with dichloroquinolinic acid, dichloroquinolinic acid and dichloroquinolinic acid at 1-3 leaf stage, 10-20 grams per mu and 30-45 kilograms of water. When barnyardgrass occurs seriously, you can use pentafluorosulfonamide (Daojie) 30-50 ml per mu or 3-4 grams of active ingredient per mu to spray the water evenly.
