Mulberry is a common economic tree species in daily life, the whole plant has high application value, generally it will bear fruit in spring, the nutritional value is very high, and the seeds can be planted at the same time, how to plant mulberry seeds?

1. Seed selection

Fruit that can be used as a seed needs to be ripe. Judging from the outdated color, the dark purple mulberry is picked and rubbed to remove the pulp, and the seeds left behind are washed clean and can be used for sowing. If you can't sow the seeds in time, you can prepare the sand for storage in wet sand.

2. Time

Spring, summer and autumn are fine, but the seeds sown in summer and autumn are generally fresh seeds picked in the same year, and the emergence rate is high. Autumn was sown after overwintering the seeds stored in the sand the previous year.

3. Seed treatment

(1) prepare a basin of half-boiled warm water, about 50 degrees, soak the seeds in water without a constant temperature, and let the water cool naturally in the process of soaking. After the water is completely cool, soak for 12 hours.

(2) after soaking, fish it out and store it in wet sandy soil. This step begins to sprout. Always spray water on it with a spray can to keep the sand moist.

(3) check whether the seed coat is broken in a few days, and then you can sow the seed when it is white.

4. Sowing method

Find a piece of land with loose soil, good drainage and sufficient fertility, dig a ditch about one centimeter deep, control the row spacing at 20 or 30 centimeters, spray water on the soil until it is wet, sow the seeds, and cover the soil. Seedlings can appear one week to ten days after the seeds are planted.

5. Management technology

(1) Interseedling

Observe the growth of the seedlings, when the seedlings grow to three or four centimeters, it is necessary to carry out intermediate seedlings. Pull out the diseased seedlings and weak seedlings with poor growth momentum, and those with uneven spacing can be replenished, so that they can be managed and kept for better plants. The distance between the two seedlings is between 10 cm and 15 cm. Once determined, the seedlings can be fixed.

(2) fertilization

In the seedling period, we should pay attention to timely watering, and fertilize in time when the soil is not fertile enough. At the same time, we should pay attention to the timely cleaning of weeds in the field and deal with diseases and insect pests. When fertilizing, we should pay attention to the medicine on the leaf surface, and don't hurt the silkworm that eats leaves because of spraying medicine.
