2. Distribution and habits of Dendrobium candidum and Dendrobium candidum.

Dendrobium candidum is distributed in the mountains of southwest Anhui, eastern Zhejiang, western Fujian, northwest Guangxi, Sichuan, southeastern Yunnan and other provinces. Dendrobium grows in cool, humid and smooth air environment. It has high requirements for the growth environment and was included as an endangered plant in the Red Book of Chinese plants in 1992. Dendrobium candidum is mainly distributed in Guizhou, Guangxi, Yunnan, Xizang and other places, the surface is golden or brown, with uniform longitudinal nodes with oval inflorescence stalk marks and residual leaf sheaths, mainly growing on tree trunks or damp rocks in mountain forests, with low requirements for the environment, and now the scale of artificial planting has been larger.
