Second, how to raise primroses?

1. Soil. The soil of primrose requires loose, fertile and good drainage. And ensure that the soil is acidic, alkaline soil will grow poorly.

2. Watering. Primroses like the moist environment, before and after flowering should be more watering, to keep the soil moist, generally watering 1-3 times. Water more before the rainy season, and try not to water it on cloudy and rainy days. Do not apply fertilizer during the growing season. Usually water immediately after applying fertilizer. After the Beginning of Autumn, do not water to prevent the branches from growing, so you can't get through the winter safely.

3. Light. Before and after the Spring Festival, the primrose should be moved to indoor maintenance. Keep the room temperature about 15 ℃, and the flowers can be seen after 15 days. When the summer sun is hot and the temperature is high, move the primrose pots to the semi-shady place, which is conducive to the growth of primroses.

4. Fertilization. When potted, put a few pieces of hoof in the basin as base fertilizer. Or when preparing flower soil, add a small amount of organic fertilizer. In the growing season of primrose, rarefied liquid fertilizer is applied once or twice a month. The flower bud differentiation period of primrose is from July to August, so more phosphate fertilizer should be applied to promote flower bud differentiation. In the early stage of flowering, the application of mature organic liquid fertilizer can ensure the bright flowers and colors of primrose and prolong the flowering period.
